Could it be that Montessori learning really is for everybody – skeptics and other big people too? Yes, my experiences of the last 30 years have convinced me that it is. I’ll talk a little about using the Montessori approach with adult learners in another section. For now, know that Montessori education principles will change the way you look at children and learning. Whether you are currently teaching in a classroom that includes none of Montessori’s ideas (or so you think) or you have already begun to use her ideas, Montessori includes principles and specific learning strategies you can use. Many unschooling families know they want to provide a learner-centered education, but aren’t sure how to do that. Setting up a Montessori environment is a time-tested way to bring the curriculum to the child.  Unschooling is a broad approach to interest-driven education.
